Snarky Hearts Calligraphy Class || February 1st

Tired of sappy cards? Join us for a fun, antivalentine-themed introduction to modern calligraphy! In this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn the beautiful art of pointed (dip) pen calligraphy, while expressing your real feelings about the upcoming lovey, dovey holiday. We will cover how to properly hold and use a pointed pen (dip pen), practice the basic strokes of calligraphy, build on the basic strokes to create letters, and connect letters to make words and phrases.

Once we have covered all of the basics, we will end the class by creating a set of your very own snarky heart un-valentines. Because nothing says "I care" like a sassy valentine. 

The workshop includes a complete supply kit with everything you need to get started: a straight pen holder, an oblique pen holder, two nibs, a traceable workbook, and vellum. It also includes all the un-valentines you create while practicing your new skill!
