    Owner, Designer, Pen & Paper Dork

    Jade and her husband, Rick, took over ownership of Chirps & Cheers in May 2020. Jade’s passion for pens, cards, planners, stationery, and pretty much all things paper is a perfect fit for this sweet little shop. Jade finds true joy in helping customers find that perfect agenda, gift, or greeting card – chatting favorite pens, or oohing and aahing over the latest invitations we’ve dreamed up. And hearing customers laugh out loud when perusing the extensive card wall makes her day.

    Shop Dog Lucy

    Official Greeter, Face Licker and Resident Tail Wagger

    Lucy jointed the team the summer of 2026 after Jade adopted her from a rescue while on a road trip with her sister-in-law. Lucy quickly worked her way into everyone's hearts at the shop. She loves greeting customers and loves having her belly rubbed!

    In Memory of McGee

    Shop Dog Extraordinaire

    McGee was our ~14 year old shop mutt rescue dog that stole our hearts. She spent her days lazing in her bed at the shop. She loved receiving mail and even wrote you back if you sent her something. She didn't always move when you walked in but if you headed her way she’d likely roll over for a belly rub (her fave!) She was here most days and loved meeting new friends.

    Our sweet shop pup McGee left us on Christmas Eve 2023, and she's dearly missed. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown her these past few years – whether it was mail you sent her, liking and commenting on McGee Mondays,  or getting down on the floor with her at the shop for a belly rub – she felt the love and loved you all right back.

    The shop will sure miss her spunk but we know she’s in a better place with endless treats and nonstop naps. xo
